Sexy dress into stylish bag

My good friend Allison & Director of  The Fig & Willow design group decided she didn't like this red dress anymore & asked me to make a bag out of it for her.

I could have cried as she looked stunning in it, I didn't want to hack into it, but Allison is so determined  she appeared on my doorstep with dress all unpicked.

Once over the shock, I got to work deciding what style I could achieve and now it's completed I love it. I'm currently working on a mini one with the left over pieces for her daughter Romi. How cute will they look when they go out together with matching bag's!

Louis Vuitton Unveils New Timepieces

Louis Vuitton has launched several new watch collections in a bid to impress customers with the depth of its technical prowess. The star of the new watches, which were unveiled in the company’s Manhattan headquarters on Tuesday, is the Tambour Mystérieuse.


Priced at about 200,000 euros, or $265,000 at current exchange, the watch has a round dial and is comprised of a mechanism that is encapsulated by two sapphire crystal discs, allowing the watch itself to float within the bezel framing it.

With an eight-day, eight-hour power reserve, the unisex watches are available for custom order with options such as monogramming the second hand with the wearer’s initials, selecting gemstones to place on the platinum, white, yellow or red gold case, and straps which come in any leather.

School Lunches

My memories of Primary school lunches were  school lunches were lining up in the canteen for hot stoggy dinners and cold custard with  skin on the top! After being sat in the bowl for a while.... yulk!

The dinner ladies used to walk aroung the dining hall making sure you were eating every mouthful. (HELP)!!

Guarding the bin was a scarry dinner lady who used to check every plate, if you hadn't finished you had to go back to your table and was made to eat it!!

My friend's and I used to try and distract the dinner lady guarding the bin  by asking her for help over at our table (or whatever excuse we could think of at the time.)

Once accomplished one of us would race over with our scraps and scrape them into the bin so quickly we were like Billy the wiz (cartoon character in the 70's).

Oh those were the days, good times!!

Asia memakai coli yang tidak mengikut saiz buah dada. Ini kerana kurangnya pendedahan terhadap penjagaan buah dada. Adalah satu kelazima

n, wanita memakai coli yang mempunyai mangkuk yang terlalu kecil atau terlalu longgar di bahagian tubuh.

Mempunyai buah dada yang cantik merupakan aset wanita. Namun semakin usia meningkat, kelahiran anak, perubahan bentuk tubuh, dan pengabaian penjagaan buah dada, maka menyebabkan buah dada jatuh atau menggelebeh.

Cara mudah untuk mengatasinya ialah memakai coli yang betul mengikut saiz buah dada kerana ia memberi sokongan luar di samping membantu kedudukan tubuh berada dalam keadaan optimum serta mewujudkan penampilan yang sihat, muda dan langsing.

Walaupun secara fizikalnya, buah dada mendapat sokongan anatomi daripada ligamen Cooper yang berfungsi menyambung tisu-tisu yang terdapat di dalam buah dada. Namun, sokongan itu tidak mencukupi untuk menampung buah dada terutamanya di kalangan wanita berusia, telah melahirkan anak atau sememangnya mempunyai buah dada besar.

"Bahagian belakang dan perut akan nampak lurus dan kelihatan kedudukan tubuh akan tegak tanpa ada ketulan lemak,'' jelasnya yang turut mengadakan perkhidmatan menjahit dan membaiki coli.

Selain coli, Neubodi turut memperkenalkan pakaian dalam mini vest bagi golongan yang mempunyai badan yang bongkok. Dengan pemakaian pakaian ini boleh membantu menegakkan tulang belakang.

Fesyen Busana Muslimah Terkini

Tampil dalam busana Muslimah yang menampilkan personaliti anggun yang sopan menyemarakkan lagi dunia fesyen. Jika dahulu fesyen ini agar sukardisesuaikan dengan aktiviti atau majlis tetapi sejak akhir-akhir ini, ia semakin diminati ramai. Apatah lagi, ia dimodenkan menjadi satu fesyen yang tidak ketinggalan zaman kerana pereka lebih mahir bermain dengan fabrik untuk mencipta busana Muslim.

Dalam sesi fotografi baru-baru ini, Norlinda memperagakan empat busana Muslimah yang berlainan mengikut konsep dan tema.

Misalnya, busana yang diperbuat daripada denim atau jeans mungkin agak kasar bagi wanita muslim. Namun, jika kena dengan gaya, ia nampak feminin terutama apabila kita menyesuaikan dengan tudung yang ringkas. Gaya ini juga sesuai untuk melawat rakan-rakan dan minum petang.

Selain itu, memakai kemeja-T Muslimah yang labuh melepasi paras punggung agak sesuai untuk mereka yang ingin gaya kasual. Malah, pakaian ini sesuai untuk bersukan dan melakukan aktiviti lasak. Namun, konsep ini tidak perlu menggunakan kerongsang atau tudung yang kelihatan padat atau berat.

Tidak ketinggalan, ramai yang beranggapan jubah pakaian yang hanya digayakan ke masjid atau umrah tetapi jika kita pandai menyesuaikan gayanya, ia nampak eksklusif. Ia boleh dipakai untuk pergi membeli-belah dan si pemakai kelihatan lebih elegan. Busana Muslimah juga melibatkan gaya korporat yang sesuai ke pejabat.
